Amla powder/Rigenera is a popular remedy in Ayurvedic medicine. Rich in vitamin C, it has a powerful natural antioxidant effect. For hair, it strengthens the roots, adds shine, prevents premature graying, reduces hair loss, and stimulates growth. It is also used to soothe scalp infections.
 
Mix one tablespoon of amla with four tablespoons of plain yogurt. Apply to clean, damp scalp and hair. Leave on for at least 15 minutes. In winter, wrap the head with a towel. After the treatment, shampoo hair.
